16.12.2020 THE ELEPHANT AND CASTLE TOWN CENTRE INFORMATION STAND
The Elephant and Castle Town Centre Information Stand launched in August this year to replace the Community Engagement centre in the shopping centre. It provided the community with important information about the changes happening in the area and helped local people find their local amenities in new locations. We’d like to thank the community for welcoming the Information Stand, providing feedback and asking questions about the regeneration of Elephant and Castle Town Centre. Since opening, almost 2000 people have interacted with the stand, 1200 maps have been handed out along with over 1000 leaflets.
As the shopping centre has now closed and the construction of the new town centre has began, the last day to access the mobile Information Stand will be Thursday 17 December. We will continue to keep the community informed via various channels, as we move forward with the demolition and construction process.
