The Urban Elephant Festival is returning for 2024, taking to the streets of Elephant and Castle this September to showcase the beauty and importance of art, music and dance throughout the community.
The festival kicks off on Friday 13th September at Castle Square from 3pm – so don’t be late!
Alongside a vibrant showcase of Latin dance and music, there will be a diverse range of events on offer throughout, namely Polish, Venezuelan and South African dance, honouring Elephant and Castle’s multicultural population.
Alongside the plethora of food stalls that will be dotted across the festival, art workshops will also be put on by Art in the Park, which we are proud to say was a major hit in 2023!
The fun doesn’t stop there, however. The festival continues on Saturday 14th September, under the ‘World in One Street’ theme. This will see the festival continue across four locations in Elephant and Castle.
Every aspect of the Urban Elephant Festival has been carefully curated to guarantee that different cultures, ethnicities and communities are acknowledged, whether that be by food, dance or music, ensuring everyone can feel proud of their community.
