01.07.2021 The story of the travelling elephant
On Saturday 26 June the local community in Elephant & Castle came together to celebrate the return of the beloved elephant statue to its new home in the area’s shopping and dining destination Castle Square. The statue has been restored with a fresh lick of paint, and now stands proudly atop of Castle Square.
