22.06.2021 THE ELEPHANT STATUE GETS A FRESH LICK OF PAINT
The beloved Elephant and Castle statue will be arriving at its new home in Castle Square on Thursday, with a welcome party celebrating its arrival on Saturday (26 June.) It recently received some pampering with a fresh lick of paint from a statue restoration specialist – see the video below.
We hope you are able to attend the party on Saturday – expect family fun, entertainment and delicious food and cocktails supplied by local traders in Castle Square.
