In Elephant and Castle, we are proud to celebrate the incredible local female traders this International Women’s Day, shining a bright spotlight on those who embodied the spirit of #InspireInclusion!

One of the inspiring traders is Faye Gomes who has been delighting taste buds with Guyanese cuisine since
2003, offering dishes like her famous ‘Pepper pot’ with Spanish rice. Faye’s Kaieteur Kitchen is proud to provide daily homemade delights at affordable prices.

Another is Stella Fashion, run by Sola Rowe. Known as the local go-to for African-inspired clothing and traditional textiles, Stella Fashion caters to men, women, and children. Anna Castro, with her passion for fashion, also adds a stylish touch to Castle Square with her store featuring shoes, bags, scarves, and hats.

Across Elephant and Castle, these female traders serve as champions of inclusivity and empowerment and that’s why this International Women’s Day we proudly celebrate their contributions in shaping our vibrant and diverse community.
