This February, Castle Square is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a host of activities to share the love with family and friends.
On Saturday 12th February Castle Square is hosting a range of FREE activities for a celebration of friends, family and the local community for the Valentine’s Day weekend. From 11am-5pm, visitors will be able to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Castle Square and share the festivities as a community.
Castle Square will be decorated with all things love and there will be plenty of family-friendly activities to get stuck into; including workshops, face painting, and an Instagrammable love dome to take the ultimate selfie in!
Throughout the day, some of the local traders will also be providing food for all to try. Visitors will be able to get their face painted with Valentine’s themed artwork and one for the social feeds are the Instagrammable selfie domes, decorated with love themed accessories and props, to take your ultimate Valentine’s Day selfies!.
You can also get creative in the Valentine’s card-making workshop, where children can make their own Valentine’s cards to spread the love with family and friends.
Whilst in the square, stop by one of the local traders in Castle Square and Ash Avenue
to snap up the perfect gift for your loved ones and enjoy 10% off. Visitors can enjoy a diverse range of food at Original Caribbean Spice, El Guambra, Daddy O’s or Kaieteur Kitchen Original. For those with a sweet tooth, stock up on sweet treats at Ayca Sweet and Nuts or enjoy a warming hot chocolate at Coma Y Beba.
Along with the Valentine’s Day event, there are also a host of free activities for the community both online and offline at the Elephant and Castle Community Hub.
