14.06.2022 FREE ANIMATED WALKING TOURS OF ELEPHANT AND CASTLE AND WALWORTH TO LEARN ABOUT THE RICH HISTORY OF THE AREA
The People’s Company hosted free animated walking tours, brought together by the Elephant and Castle Town Centre team.
All members of the community and beyond were invited to learn about the rich and diverse history and heritage of Elephant and Castle on a free walking tour. Visitors and locals experienced music, performers, and a dance workshop performed by Yuripari dance group during the tour stops. Actors were on hand to bring to life famous local characters and fascinating stories as community members embarked on a journey of the history of the local area.
At the end of the tour Castle Square’s food traders provided exciting offers and tastes.
