05.02.2021 Consultation on Minor Amendments
At the end of last year, we submitted a Section 73 application relating to minor amendments proposed exclusively to the Elephant and Castle London Underground station to extend the new ticket hall to safeguard for the Bakerloo Line Extension, future proofing for a combined station entrance serving both the Northern and Bakerloo lines in the future.
The project team has reviewed the consented scheme and identified an additional number of ways in which it could be further enhanced so we can deliver an outstanding town centre for Elephant and Castle including minor changes to the mix of retail, leisure, education, workspace and residential uses.
In order to formalise these changes, we are submitting a second Section 73 application for minor material amendments to the consented scheme.
We want to hear your views. The consultation will go live here on Monday 8 February and close at midnight on Friday 26 February.
