Elephant and Castle shopping centre welcomes Co-Op supermarket

XX May 2019, Delancey has confirmed it will welcome Co-op Supermarket as a new convenience store in the Elephant and Castle shopping centre. The new Co-op will be located on the ground floor of the shopping centre in the space previously occupied by Tesco.

As the UK’s leading community supermarket chain, Co-op has been connecting communities and bringing people together for years. Now, the value supermarket will serve the Elephant and Castle community from its new location.

“Following Tesco’s decision to close its store last month, we have been working very hard to attract a new supermarket, given our full commitment to ensuring the shopping centre remains a vibrant, thriving shopping location ahead of the redevelopment.”

Co-op is planning on opening its new store on XXX.
